Cargo level warning

Post by ffutures »

Apologies if this is already in an add-on I've missed:

Something I'd find useful on the F8 screen is some sort of warning if the level of any particular cargo (especially gold, platinum, and gems) drops below the current commitment for cargo contracts. e.g. the colour of the item mass in grams/kilos/tons changes to red or something. I'm doing a LOT of high-value long-distance cargoes at the moment and keeping track of how much stuff I'm supposed to be carrying gets a bit difficult when there are e.g. five different batches of gold aboard, especially with battle damage sometimes taking some out. I could do it on paper, I suppose, but it's a PITA.

Some useful code might be found in Trading Assistant beta version 2.15. Ask nicely here if you want help extracting it to a stand-alone form:

In current 1.81, the new F8 F8 screen (commodity detail) will tell you the total contracted volume. Shift-left/right selling and buying will also stop at the contracted volume for that trade good (and need a second press to keep going).

Excellent! Sounds just what I want. Many thanks, looking forward to it.
