Right now I have a somewhat more basic joystick (Logitech Attack 3) than seems typical when using flight games. I would love to use it with Oolite but apparently I'm only allowed to map yaw to an axis, which isn't really a possibility as this joystick basically only has two axes plus a slider-type thingy which isn't really suitable for such a function. Personally I'd quite like the ability to map the yaw to buttons 4 and 5 (I don't particularly use yaw in flying due to learning to fly Elite on the BBC Master version, though it is quite useful at times for sniping), at the moment it looks like this is not possible. Could this feature be added? (Unless my fairly limited experience with gaming means I haven't realised I'm suggesting a particularly insane configuration?)
Thanks!
(Maybe also allow roll buttons for those who prefer pitch/yaw to pitch/roll?)
Allow yaw to be mapped to joystick buttons as well as axis

Re: Allow yaw to be mapped to joystick buttons as well as ax
edit your keyconfig, yaw is <> by default just replace it with the designations for those buttons on your joystick.
or edit your joystick prog to send those two characters from your buttons.....
