We use Delta3D from US DoD as a source library of useful Open Source modelling code - but I noticed today that somebody has posted links to a load of 3D spaceships - along with a "free to use" statement - it's not quite a CC license - but fairly explicit in terms of intent.

Just had a look, but I think most of the models have too many polys to be useful for Oolite.
