Re: A future king is born
I don't mind the Royals - although I'm not a full-blood Royalist, I'm stunned by the amount of Republican bile on various Social Media forums. Fine I say to them, keep voting for a UK Govt that will get rid of the Monarchy - no problems - but to wish ill on a new born baby, because it happens to have been born to a mother who is now married to an heir to the throne... just makes me sad.
So, I will, for that reason alone, raise a glass along with you, for the safe arrival of another human being into the world, that may, or may not, eventually be a figurehead/head-of-state of a small Island in the North Atlantic plus several other nations who still don't mind having a little old lady effectively (but not practically) in charge of their country...

I'll raise a glass to the wee lad.. he has my sympathies.. of all the families in the world he could have been born to, the poor bugger really drew the short straw by landing amongst that lot of *obscenity deleted*.
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Re: A future king is born
Well, assuming that Britain remains a Monarchy, and the succession takes the predictable route, he is unlikely to be King for another 50-60 years or so, by which time I will be long gone, so to me this is all a bit academic.
Having said that, good luck to the little fellow

Yes only 3th in line of the throne. He first has to wait for a queen and two following kings to die. That could take a while, unless he starts studying chemistry.
