Compassionate Leave for Cmdr Jameson?

The worthy Cmdr has firmly requested compassonate leave to resolve a very serious crisis at his family's distillery in Ireland.
In view of his longstanding brave & exquisite conduct, I can't decently refuse this.

Fortunately, a former distinguished Elite veteran, Cmdr Von Climax (The result of a unon between old Prussian Military and premier Argentinian cattle ranching families) has volunteered to take Jameson's place. But, he insists on appearing in Ship's Papers under his own name.

How can I make this happen please?

(I have already tried copying a 'Jameson' saved file & renaming it 'Von Climax' but this did not work.)
