Witchspace Destination saved in Character file

When I die, I want to get straight back out there from where I last saved the game, which is usually the last planet.

However, the saved game does not record your Witchspace destination pointer, so you have the huge extra effort of moving the crosshairs back onto the planet of your choice.

Any chance the destination could be included in the save file? It *seems* like it would be trivial.

If there are reasons why anyone considers this a Bad Thing, do let me know.

I'm pretty sure the original Elite did this. I've never really noticed on Oolite, I'm reasonably successful at not dying :-)
