Military Shield Enhancement (salvaged) doesnt get installed

I'm at a Salvage Gang base, which I think is from the Anarchies OXP and I've paid for a Military Shield Enhancement (salvaged) but it charges me the Cr32,250, stays on the installable list and doesn't get installed. Is this a bug or did I just get robbed?

Buyer beware! The equipment bought from Salvage Gangs, usually does work for a while, but has a higher chance of being damaged. Its better to save up and buy from a reputable source.

Not working for long is one thing.. but not installed in the first place?

That's not supposed to happen, and it doesn't happen here.

Can you post the content of latest.log? (Please include in -tags.)

If you've played some sessions in-between, the log is indeed worthless. I'd need a log from when the bug happened.

Am I correct to assume that you have no Military Shield Enhancement currently installed? If so, then I'd like to ask you to visit the next Salvage Gang and dock and re-launch until you get offered the salvaged item again. Buy it again, and see what happens. Then post the log of this session.

Also, could you post your save file (again in code-tags)? That would also help to solve your problem with the amnesty mission. I need specifically everything between the lines

Thanks. This at least confirms that there is currently no MSE is installed on your ship, and it should be on offer again the next time you visit a Salvage Gang.

:idea: It just occurred to me that I don't know what type of ship you're flying. Which type is it? And can you confirm whether your ship type can fit a Military Shield Enhancement in the first place? If it cannot, then also a salvaged version can't be installed. This would explain why it doesn't disappear among the items on sale.

Although then it's still a bug that you're being charged for it. I'll look into how to fix that.
