CLIENT: Adobe! I want my Adobe updated. I have no idea what you're talk about…

ME: Adobe makes lots of programs. Like, you wouldn't say, "I just updated my Microsoft - "

CLIENT: Microsoft isn't working either. Find a solution for that while you're at it.

The majority of this stuff is from Dixons Stores Group's tech support from the time when I worked there when it was under the Mastercare banner (I had a word document with all of it in, compiled from anecdotes of people actually on the phones in the call centre). The giveaway is the mention of Packard Bell and Advent, which were Dixons Stores Group EXCLUSIVES! ;-)

I didn't make the site - someone else who probably worked there did it. There have been a fair few of these sites over the years.

It's easy to see why most contact centres now have a disclaimer saying that phone calls are recorded these days...
