I don't know how many people have finished Finis yet, but I thought it might be considerate for those who aren't done yet to be shielded from the crucial plot twists...
My 2cr - Given that the 8 galaxies are actually distant parts of the one galaxy, I wonder if we can persuade our counterparts developing Pioneer to put in some alien species in distant parts of the galaxy. If one of the devs can script a journey to the black hole at the centre of the galaxy, then surely that's far enough to encounter our slimy frogs, lobstoids, caninies, felines and avians (who did I miss?)
And we're going to need a year 3151 OXP that kills Galactic Hyperdrive once and for all...

Finished it at half six this morning 9 (couldn't sleep) and...wow.
There are a lot of unanswered questions. Is the universe inhabited by Coyote and Jim+Rebecca the same one?
Is the universe at the end the Frontier universe? Jim and Rebecca are back in 3130s and there are no aliens, but this is chronologically before the end of the battle in 3151, when the aliens went to G2...
Nope. Didn't miss that. But when Rebecca looks at the species lists for the planets they're all "Human Colonials". In the 3130s.
They were in Raxxla, and ended up sent to a parallel universe "past" where there were no "aliens" and Rebecca's family was alive and well.
You know those who, having been mugged and stabbed, fired, dog run over, house burned down, wife eloped with best friend, daughters becoming prostitutes and their countries invaded - still say that "all is well"?
I'm obviously not one of them.

...Where they remember what happened in some detail.
Coyote also lives in this universe, but does he remember the events that led up to the Battle for Raxxla?
Does Udian Shulth still live? And if so, in Chart 1 or Chart 2? (The Shulth family is reportedly based somewhere in C2.)
The refugees that escaped to C2 certainly remember, and honor the heroes accordingly. But if C1 is sealed off, are the other six charts still accessible from C2?
Aarrghh! Raxxla is a bloody paradox machine!

Let's just say that Raxxla doesn't need to respect human logic. Considering that Logic is a human invention, it must have a flaw somewhere in it... {hang on, am I using logic to disprove logic? Arrgh!!!! Recursion!!!!}

And it occurs to me that providing a story like this is bound to create an enormous amount of popular publicity for the whole area of philosophy in general. Everyone's going to have their own theories about what answer you're eventually going to come up with, and who better to capitalize on that media market than you yourselves? So long as you can keep disagreeing with each other violently enough and slagging each other off in the popular press, you can keep yourself on the gravy train for life. How does that sound?
To my mind this is a valiant bit of tidy broom work. Not only is there the opportunity to have system shattering battles and screw everything over right royally....but also stitched in is a universal get out clause where by anyone can write anything without feeling impeded by decisiveness of the events described or actions taken.
It is by far the most canny use of the "no harm, no foul" policy I've seen in quite a while.
That said I think I'll be getting my jollies in the past for a while.

Did Udian have a TARDIS stashed aboard the Hammer? Somehow that wouldn't surprise me.
It was later noted that shockwaves from nuclear torpedo detonations near the Raxxla event horizon had repercussions that spread throughout the time/space continuum. Here's a blast from the past. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsCyC1dZiN8
