Free AI course

The link pretty much explains it. And here I'd just been thinking I should find a course or two to take this fall.

That's awesome. Think I'll have to look into that... :D
Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.

I've signed up for the notification of when to sign up, since the actual sign-up isn't open yet. I've been wanting to get back into coding and update my skill set a bit, since one of my personal goals is to eventually write an Oolite OXP. I can code a bit, but I learned way back in the "spaghetti code" days of things like BASIC. (Yes, I'm an old fart, I turned 50 this year.) There are courses available at a local school for assorted newer programming languages, and maybe a basic concepts course in AI will get some ideas rolling and help me get up the impetus to actually take a credit course or two on the modern languages.

Well, a new copy of the current revision of the textbook is a bit pricey. But they say they support all the revisions (though #3, the current one, is recommended). I found a used copy of revision two online for about 20$, and ordered it already.
