subdomain-links to wiki and BB

Hi all

I don't know if this has been asked before but
why not set up a few subdomains to link to the wiki and the BB (for quick [noob] access)?

If you're thinking about the http://www.oolite.org site, it has those (and a few other) links under 04. links on the right side of the page.

Keep in mind that oolite.org , aegidian.org and alioth.net are 3 separate domains with (likely) 3 different owners.

As it happens, http://forum.oolite.org/ does redirect here, but I don’t guarantee that it will keep working so don’t use it in links.

I don’t think it would be appropriate to do the same for the wiki, since it isn’t Oolite Wiki but Elite Wiki. Aslo, alioth.net is easier to spell than aegidian.org, but maybe that’s just me. :-)
