Last flight of the shuttle today...
...assuming the weather is ok. End of an era, m'thinks.
No more Concorde, no more Space Shuttle. The 21st century isn't living up to the dreams of my 8 year space-enthusiast inner child.
Cheers,
Drew.

Indeed!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

They are but not on this planet.Killer Wolf wrote:i'm still sad Moeller's Skycar isn't generally available in showrooms
So who wants to bet on how long it will be after the last shuttle launch before NASA(or more likely the U.S.Defense Department) unveils a super secret hypersonic space plane that can do some of what the shuttle does now? The only other possibilities that they will admit to in the media have to do with plasma rockets(these could actually be a disguise to hide a real laser fusion rocket). That's just speculation but the money (100's of billions) has to be going somewhere.
Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.
