My dev team at work
create new universes everyday. Never fails to make me grin when they say we've got a problem with the 'universe'.
Our database reporting cluster is called 'Multiverse'.
My favourite was when one of our DBAs said:
"I've just given the girl in finance the universe."
To which I quipped...
"Blimey, flowers and a trip to the sea-side worked in my day..."
