Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.

My dev team at work create new universes everyday. Never fails to make me grin when they say we've got a problem with the 'universe'. 
Our database reporting cluster is called 'Multiverse'.
My favourite was when one of our DBAs said:
"I've just given the girl in finance the universe."
To which I quipped...
"Blimey, flowers and a trip to the sea-side worked in my day..."
