For some reason the Nuit is a lot harder to dock into for me without bumping into something than any other non-rotating station. I noticed earlier in the thread someone else was having a similar problem; I wonder if the visible shape of the station doesn't quite match its collision box.
Were you docking through the standard docking bay, or at one of the docking arms?
Docking bay. I've never been able to dock at the arms; I have the External Docking System OXP, but every time I try an external dock I just crash.

This is Nuit Mk1 or Nuit Mk2?
Nuit Mk1 will be replaced by Mk2 when the external docking for liners at Mk2 is sorted out.
Based on the image, Mk1.

I don't mean to be pedantic, but I just want to check: Did you have docking clearance before you approached the external dock points? And did you approach at less than 100m/s?

Yes and yes.
EDIT: wait, let me test something out real quick.

Okay, tested it again. Asked for and got docking clearance, got the "reduce speed to below 100 m/s" message during approach, did so and approached as straight as I could. Still crashed.

Version 2.5 of Nuit and v1.9 of the External Docking system now available, which should make docking at the external points a lot more consistent. And I mean *a lot*.

With the new version, I'm happy to report I was able to dock without any issue!
