Thanks Solo,

It was not easy, but getting there slowly. Release of the pirate version coming very soon. A little busy with RL at the moment, but finding the time here and there to work on it.

I think the new features look and play nice, so will continue along the same lines.

catch you all later

Since I was on a roll I continued with the Adder,

Here are some early wip screenshots of a ship that will again feature a detachable LCB:

Oh yes, I am planning on putting the gunbox centered under the nose this time and attaching the missile launchers on "external pylons" since it is a basic utility craft.

Enjoy.

Hahahaha, yeah bouncing along...

Also next to the Solaris, a little WIP on the HPC adder, which is now in its final paneling stages and en route getting its subentities.

Yes I had a little bit of a burnout with modelling for Oolite and lazyness has not helped either. I have resumed work on the Adder and changed its cockpit quite a bit. I will need to get back into the workflow of things, but all in all it didn't take me too long to get used to wings3d again after 5 months.

So here are some screenshots of the revamped Adder:

Thx Dizzy,

This is indeed a huge project since all the subents need to be fitted on the model and positions and rotations need to be written down and sometimes calculated to be added to the shipdata plist file.

Anyways, since I am motivated again, I have done some more stuff, here's some screens:

I want to put this up on our wiki, but am unsure what to call it.

High Poly Classic Modpack means nothing to me, and I would guess would mean nothing to most others too. Unrememberable.

Ditto with Z GrOovy HPC pack - although if one knows what "Z GrOovy" is about, then that is a guarantee of quality, at least. "HPC" is of less use.

Any ideas?

Here is a quick overview about "poly" in general: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Low_poly.
Simply speaking, the higher the poly the better the graphics of the ship but the computer need to work harder to view. Please note that there are exceptions and much more details, but I leave them to the experts.
