The more Thargoids you manage to kill, the more rewarding it gets. That's because each of the motherships releases five fighting drones (the so-called Thargons). Each of them counts as a separate kill. By the way, if they lose connection to the last mothership, they will de-activate and become completely harmless. Then you can kill them one by one with your laser, without wasting your energy bomb.byronarn wrote:I have figured out a good way to get my kill count up. P.S.: There are other ways of boosting your killcount as well. Dubious sources from shady space bars recommend a sightseeing trip to the Tionisla Orbital Graveyard. Oh, and they recommend you carry a Q-mine for that journey.
