My fault – should be sorted now!

I like it. Reminds me of the original Elite logo, without being a direct copy.
Some constructive criticism:
The left wing is lower than the right. Also, the lower vertical bar angles by a pixel or two to the left on the top. It's like the whole thing is turned counter clockwise by a little.

thanks for the comments, it needs some work getting all the spacing/geometry right.

Ahoy Commanders
I've created another Oolite logo/icon. If one of you kind soles could upload it to the forum for me so people can check it out.
i wont be able to upload for a few more days.
cheers
p.s. forgot to mention, the design was inspired by a star trek emblem and the cobra image was from the wiki site.

Ah this explains why this thread smells fishy....!
EDIT: here it is, nice image! Weird, Twitpic seems to cut the side out. Have uploaded the original image to my Flickr account.

You were linking to a web page rather than the image itself. I’ve fixed it for you.

My Safari still doesn't display it. I had to follow the link.

Looks like the direct link on that site expires after a while...
Commander Matt, there's a couple of sites that specialise in hosting pictures, and they do it for free.
I tend to use imageshack, but it's just one option amongst many.
By the way, nice as these last icons are, I believe they need to be still looking good, and hopefully recognisable as the same images, at 16 by 16 pixels. I'm not sure some of these qualify...
Before I forget, I just noticed that my 'cheesy' comment seems to be about an icon. It was actually directed at JazHaz's 'fishy' comment, before he added the image to his post.

I picked 7 icons I think best and resized them to 64 x 64 px along with current one for comparison:

From that selection, KZ 4 is the clearest (and best) at that size.
