It only exists because when we made major changes in 2012 I wanted to have a sandbox to try out stuff as not to break the real wiki. If I create a new sandbox, I would rather have an up-to-date one. Have you tried
archive.org for wiki.alioth.net? It goes back all the way to 2006, but I have not checked how comprehensively it copied the wiki pages.

Hope this gets resolved quickly, just noticed last night. Trying to get Oolite running again for the first time in a few years.

It has a domain name now, you can reach it at
http://backup.witchspacewiki.org. The previous URL (with the IP address) is taken down.

Can you instead make a sticky post that people should refresh their OXP List in the manager please? Then we can all go back to normal
