We now return you to our scheduled programming:
The Lord of the Rings is our Brexit guide
<sniggers> One does not simply walk out of Europe!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

Farmers could cash in on chicken feet by increasing exports to China for business after Brexit.
Not yet clear whether we'd just be exporting the feet au naturel, or whether they would be the ingredients of a really stonkingly innovative jam.

Yes, the McAuslan stories are very funny … if you've not read it yet, you might also like GMF's memoir of his wartime experiences as a private in Burma, called Quartered Safe Out Here. It's not funny (and for funny wartime memoir, you can't beat Spike Milligan's Hitler: My Part in His Downfall and others), but it's interesting to read as the real-life background of the narrator "Dand MacNeill" in the McAuslan books.
Yes, I read it and it's an excellent book. Not sure what happened to my copy, it either got lent and never returned or lost during a house move.

I say, good luck to Nigel, in his future career as an economic migrant! It's that kind of can-do, get-up-and-go attitude that's made Britain what it is today.

 Perfectly stated by Disembodied!
...and i'm sure that we can all find names in our countries, to replace for 'Nigel' and 'Britain' and still have a valid quote! :x
