I think many potential voters are simply waiting to see what else will be entering the competition and leaving room for higher votes...

Interestinly enough, 9 people have voted your entry and only 6 mine... I think that will weigh in the final judging panel as well (the total number of votes vs. average vote).

Oh well. Good luck, anyway... to all who enter. I am surprised by how few entries there have been so far. I thought A_H and Draco would have thrown something into the mix by now. Flying_Circus hasn't been around for a while either.

I've patched the NjX OXP on Oosat. The Shipyard should show the correct ship now. I've also uploaded a test pilot save file with the blue version.

just wondering, are we not being so fussy about the letter of the law? the (so far two) entries have aimed for greater splendor, and I'm not sure if I ought to follow on this..
as soon as my painful AIwrangling-phase is over, I'll have to choose, and it would be just awful to get disqualified. :wink:

Darn it, the current entries for this rock. We need external views so we can look at our shiny ships!

yes, as of v1.65 you can.

just hit ...uhhh...shift-v i think.

If a ship has external views defined, you can toggle through them.
(no external reticule though)

EDIT: Turns out it's just V. The view's too close, though; any way to zoom?

Damn it. I overlooked that. Is it a strict rule, Giles? I'll remove the other two versions if necessary.

Edit: strike that, I'm playing it safe. I've removed the black and red versions. Now the OXP only contains two ships - the NPC and player versions. I stil have the full version, and I'll release that again after the competition closes.

Okay I'll revise that rule to say AT LEAST one NPC and one player. Other versions won't be considered in the judging.

well, in case it isnt clear, there is a savegame incuded in the download zip, for a test ride no matter how much Cr you got.

Nah, AFAICT there's no way to zoom. But I had noticed the same problem and have edited some custom external views into my tesoura OXP. You can just copy-paste the external views from my oxp to another. Hope it helps ;).
