WOW  :o 8)
I love these. When can I get in on this image fest? When will 1.74 be out on windows? :D
Very nice guys loving those screens, my creative juices just started to bubble ... :D

I feel a new Deepspace OXP coming....

Very nice feature and absolutely gorgeous backgrounds.

Reminds me of a question I have :
Is the upper right hand corner in the manifest screen (1st page) like reserved for something, or in use by some OXP(s) ?

-------------------------------

I am currently searching the board for something completely different, but doing so have stumbled into two old feature requests, that can easily be fulfilled with this new feature, by us players ourselves :

icons for commodities : https://bb.oolite.space/viewtopic.php?t=1913&
player picture / avatar in the game : https://bb.oolite.space/viewtopic.php?t=4601&

simply by us players editing them background images. :)

There aren’t any concrete plans, but a view of the player’s ship would make sense.

Yes, of course. Even that could then be done by players themselves.

When you're docked at a non-main station, the first line can get long enough to significantly encroach on the top bit of that space.

And any **** ELITE **** rating will go through the bottom part of the marked area.

Very nice indeed ! :)

Though I feel a slight rant of
'In my day, we didn't have on screen reminders of the F-Keys, we had to remember them, and if we didn't , we just had to push one and take our chances, (after having walked 10 miles in the snow barefoot!) you rookies have it so easy these days '
:)

I remember first time in a Cobra, I pushed them all in sequence.
Let me tell you that first one was a big surprise!

Thought you might like to see this shot of my BoaCC the 'Nemesis'. This is the DeepSpaceShips OXP version of the Boa 2, subtly modified by me.
I like this shot, because its not too stark, but rather moody and 'spacey'.

Screen Backgrounds..

Post by DeepSpace »

Yes I've been doodling and love the idea of the screen backgrounds when docked etc.. Here's a couple of Mockups I've done. The background is the same for each, as my take is one size fits all, but there's no reason that when I do get around to creating an OXP for these that I can do specific designs for each screen. :D

Anyway click on the images to see them much bigger 8)

Also nice. :)

Hmmm. There seems to be a common theme of "blue". So, when are we going to see the first set with a different colour?
