Just delete the oxp then reinstall it from the expansion manager? Will the saved games be OK?

You are correct, I posted in 2 topics. The only modification done was to make the ships available to the ship library, therefore a saved player game will not be affected. You can simply remove the OXP and download the OXZ. Future releases will include new textures and re-design of the NPC's first so for some time the player ship will be safe.

I decided to switch over to the managed version anyway. Needless to say there were no problems.

I believe coloring the plating works better than coloring the complete ship.
Used an online ai resizer to enlarge the bitmap while keeping certain details,
All maps 1024 x 1024
