Hi everyone.
Another update on the site:
www.andherethewheel.co.nz.
I've been told to keep some secrets and my characters don't have names, but I'm pushing on anyway.
Cheers
John

Hi Everyone
Another post on the website
www.andherethewheel.co.nz. Not about the novel per se, I'm looking back at my Indiegogo Campaign to see what lessons I have learnt.
Cheers
John

Hi Everyone
Another weekly update and this is a bumper one. Before this project I had a plan in place with specific timeframes. How is the plan faring after two months of writing? I review the plan and look to the future. I also discuss a couple of questions I have been asking Frontier Developments.
Enjoy!
Thanks,
John

Hi everyone
A Big Big Update this week on the website.
A lot of things are happening. I show an example of prose before and after editing. Does it get better? You be the judge.
I discuss the podcast, my next newsletter (yes it is coming) and I also go through some suggestions for making your writing more dynamic.
I ask several questions through the post. I would love to hear your feedback.
Enjoy!

Hi Everyone,
Haven't posted here in a while, but I've still been regularly updating the website.
This week I continue my discussion of backstory and what it means to a novel. My normal metrics and updates are included as always.
Now that I am editing the novel I have been doing an 'edittation' (Yes it is a real word. Because I said so:) ) where I show a small section of text from the draft and then compare it to a revised version. In this weeks version I ask the readers to complete the next step and show how they would edit the piece.
Come on over and have a look:
www.andherethewheel.co.nz. Comments welcome (even encouraged).
Cheers,
John

Thanks,

Hi Everyone
This weeks update focuses on how to show emotion around the climax of the novel. When the stakes are higher you need to make the emotion stronger too, How? Check it out at
www.andherethewheel.co.nz.
All the usual progress metrics included as well.

Hi everyone,
Been a while since I posted updates here. I've been busy.
And Here The Wheel is now being published by Fantastic Books, the same publisher as Drew, and just last night I finished the 'Beta' version of the story which all the 'Proofer' pledgers from my Indiegogo campaign should now have in their inboxs. Its all go over here and I've updated the website to bring everyone up to speed.
I've also got a bit of a teaser for the future of
www.andherethewheel.co.nz.
Cheers
John

Come on over and check out the new digs, learn about the history of the Garry Clan and then join up and help shape the narrative future of Robert Garry and Co.
Connect.
Belong.
Plunder.
We are Garry Clan.

Nice!
Unfortunately all the links on the "Garry Clan page are '404' - there's an IP address appearing instead of the domain name when the link is open.
