I prefer to play the real Oolite, thank you very much. I'm quite convinced it can't be beat anytime in the near future.

fact: we in the comunity have a ginormous programming skill and power

fact 2: we have proven to be good in team work

what i propose...

is to make a REAL oolite mod with online suport (like discovery does) there is much scripting capability in freelancer engine, also we can list someting like 10 features that most of the people uses or the ones proven being a "major sucess" (like assasing guild, seedy space bars, back monks monastery and that kind of stuff) and somewhat getting them into freelancer also we can add community ships that fits in to the stile (like my ---cruiser ship models((the other ones arent that detailed)))--- and put them inside too, then we could find someone who host the server or can sponsor it and we could "remake" oolite and also ad this wonderfull feature, we have the player base... just look how much posts are made daily in this forum... we could do it
