Funniest review of Phantom Menace

Post by Poro »

It's in seven parts, and you will be glad you don't live next door to the reviewer by the end of the seventh part.

Here is part one.

I think I've watched them all except for the Insurrection review, which I'm watching now. The "Yeah, but the Indians didn't have a... " comment had me LOL'ing.

My favorite was "People call me a murderer even though I've never been caught". :)

It's very cleverly put together. You pass judgement on the critic very quickly, so personality doesn't get in the way of the review. I love the way he cuts off his own rants.

"this film doesn't make any sence".

The presentation package is good but the deconstruction is bordering on the scientific. Create a hypothesis, back it up with observation, draw conclusion based on that observation. If something is ambiguous say so.

The montages and positioning of footage to illistrate plot holes and logic gaps is masterly. This is a very complex, well researched bit of work, wrapped in a disarming style.

My personal favourite. Chickens lead to eggs, eggs lead to omlettes, omlettes lead to fecal urgency.
