Ok, let me rephrase that:

I like it all, but not as much as the Coriolis. :)

An update on the Eagle Mark 4, customers complained about the shoddy engineering of the vertical wings, and so ADCK spaceworks have recalled all model 4's which will be replaced free of charge with the new Eagle Mark 4b:

:P

Actually redid the whole model over.

looks good but 1 suggestion.

both of the vertical wings appear to fold over to the left - or is it my imagination??? (am guessing because you took the design from the main wing and they bend down)

would this not be a design flaw (esp if you were to fly into the atmosphere)

i would suggest the vertical wings should be straight or at the very least the top one bend slightly 1 way, and the bottom one the other way (like an S) otherwise in atmosphere the ship will constantly be trying to pull to the right.

or am i talking rubbish?

It's just the camera angle, they're straight.

Does it fit in the docking bay? Personally I think an X-wing eagle would be cooler.

Havn't tested it yet, am still trying to figure out how to colour a ship using diffuse map, so they can have a random color instead of the grey colour.

Look at Griff's shader fragments for his ships they have randomly coloured hull plates...

Ya I know, however it's not commented on which part does the random colours... so I'm left without a clue.

PM Griff - he's a superstar for helping shader noobs - plus I think there's some explanations in the shader thread...
