Missing PM

Post by drew »

Checking my email as I am occasionally wont to do, I received a missive informing me that a doubtless witty, humorous and above all enlightening piece of information was about to be vouchsafed to me courtesy of this virtual board of bulletins.

Dismay followed quickly on the heels of such fevered anticipation as I, palms a-trembling, logged into my inbox of delights.

No such missive was forthcoming! Did it ever exist? Was someone or something trying to contact me with information pertinent to the survival of the human race, or trying to avert some ooniverse threatening catastrophy?

My inbox was rent asunder, it was bleak, empty, devoid of meaning. No new data resided there, only the old familiar ramblings of that long ago year of 2009...

Shall I never know what that message was, ignorance gnawing at me like a canker, an eternity of unknowing stretching before me...

Cheers,

Drew.

ps. Had a couple of Whiskies this evening.

There was a PM spammer that just got killed. Maybe that's the source of your missing err, missive!

Bottoms up! :D

I had the same. No pm. Bummer! At least I've got my password sorted now. I haven't logged in here for a while.

If some spammer got assassinated then that's fine by me :D

I too was on the hit list - I got the PM notification but as others have noted - no PM - it was perplexing but I saw the posting in the Spammer thread, and all was made clear.

Happy noo year awe boddy.

I've missed a few PM's and early AM's too.

But that's to do with having a few to many toddies (whiskey's) too early in the day!

Does not compute. "Too many" impossible parameter for "whiskey".

There was a poll somewhere about how many kills people have ;)

I did start december 2008 and now I've got 13858 kills, but the vast amount of those kills was made in the first few months with a few days on which I came close to 1000 kills per day. Anyway, it's not the kills that make the fun, but the missions!

Yes, there are indeed quite some ELITE pilots out here. Some of them probably even did it more than once with different pilots.
