Looks that way!
I looked at the other screenshots in that photoshop album & I realised there's a not-too headachy solution to the new problem of allowing for the display of the correct F-n shortcuts in all situations (in flight & docked, paused or not).
Svengali, I'm going to do some minor fiddling with the code, and if it turns out it's not too much of a problem to implement, there's going to be a PM with the techy bits sometimetomorrow later on today, time permitting...

Hehe, yes. It looks like a complete different game, even if nothing else is changed than a few bits in the background. But still a lot to do and the pics are not completely finished...DaddyHoggy wrote:Nice work Svengali - it's amazing the difference it makes!
Meh, we all need a hobby I suppose! And quite a few of us do come up with really good stuff!
Btw, 'us' definitely includes all the people on the board, past & present!
I've added oolite.setScreenBackground() and oolite.setScreenForeground() to trunk. They will respectively change the background / add a background overlay to the currently displayed screen. The background & overlay added via javascript are meant to be valid just for the currently selected screen, and just until we go to another screen.
At the moment, paging through equipment screens (or selecting a new planet on the charts) will remove the temporary changes, but I hope to soon get the temporary changes to be slightly less temporary!
Take care, and see you in a couple of days!

That keeps me from stitching together a pile of backgrounds as eye-candy for my planned Let's Play myself... :O looks gorgeous!
