FFE for Mac

Post by Dr Beeb »

For those of us in Mac-land I stumbled across this

http://www.m3fe.com/content/MacJJFFE

and it's only a few days old.

(Apologies if there are other Mac versions already out there.)

I had never played Frontier before but had heard plenty of complaints about it.
Yep.
The flying down and around the planet(s) is quite impressive though, a source of inspiration.
White dots were so much easier to hit

Thank you very much for sharing this. I didn't know there was an FFE port for Mac until today.

So here's another excuse for not learning how to write OXPs :-)

Greetings,

It's a list. You don't "learn it" you look at it and go oh, ok. and you can do it.
If you want to do anything Clever on the other hand, then yes maybe.

Pha, I thought the loss of PHYSICAL skills was worrying but to have people shy away from the etherial too? Man in a box sir!

Works fine (well, with the caveats the guy mentions) on x86.

I dont want to reopen all the FFE is xyz discussions again, but I really have to say this. I forgot just how different the thing is. Loads of cool innovation, but also how hugely frustrating it is :D

Even though OT, I couldn't leave this. So I actually worked my way through all the wikis and I came to the following conclusion:

Man, you are right! Even though I guess one would still need some time to get a good overview.

Thanks for pointing this out to me. Now I have to catch up on some sleep :-)
