Where To Install OXP on AMD64 Linux?

Post by Commander Zoe »

Hi

I am running Oolite version 1.73 in Linux Mint on an AMD 64 box. Can anyone tell me where the AddOns folder is so I can install some OXPs? It's not in either of the places specified in the Wiki. I have Oolite installed system-wide...Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Welcome to the Friendliest Board this side of Riedquat(tm) Commander Zoe.

I don't know where the Wiki says the AddOns folder lives bur for me (Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy) one of the places it checks is /home/MyName/.Oolite/AddOns (all case sensitive of course)

I don't know anything about Linux Mint so this may be of no use to you - apologies if this is the case.

One of the standard places Oolite looks at is indeed ~/.Oolite/AddOns, and if the AddOns directory doesn't exist, you can always create it, and add the oxps there.

PS: and it is the friendliest board this side of Riedquat! :)
Hey, free OXPs: farsun v1.05 & tty v0.5! :0)
