Contrary to what the Wiki says, the alertConditionChanged handler is not triggered in ship scripts.
I have worked around that by calling the routine in the ship script from my world script, and it works. But either the handler should fire in both, or the parenthesis in the Wiki should be deleted.

I had a look at the code and it looks like stations scripts will react to alertConditionChanged, but that event will reflect the station's alert level, not the player's.
All other entities do not react to alertConditionChanged.
We definitely need to change the wiki entry!
