changing e-mail address

Post by Zbond-Zbond »

I'm in the process of getting a new internet service provider, and as a result my e-mail address will change.

Do I just update my profile?

If changing my registered e-mail address, do I need to access Oolite bb using my current address to do so?

Err, I access the board using my user name, not the email address.

Once logged in, as you must have done to write the post above, you can always change your profile settings...

OK

as it happens my e-mail address isn't included in my profile, but as long as I won't have to re-register a valid (i.e. current) address with this board then there will be no spvtz's awaiting 'round the proverbial corner

This is why I like gmail... doesn't matter how often I change ISPs, my addy never changes.. :D not to mention they have IMAP, and not just POP3.
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied
