So I had a witchspace malfunction and left me head to head with Thargoids. I got rid of them, but F6 clearly showed I was in the middle of my jump with not enough energy to get anywhere. I fly around and then wait for a possible interstellar help. Neither came.
What can one do to get out of that situation?
Chris
I finally just reloaded a backed up version, but nice to know if there was in game help.
Getting out from between systems.

Could try this: http://wiki.alioth.net/index.php/Interstellar_help_OXP
Or this: http://wiki.alioth.net/index.php/Fuel_Collector_OXP
have not tried either of these myself, as I don't get into interstellar space as much as I'd like to (not).

Interstellar help does work, but it requires some luck.lfnfan wrote:Could try this: http://wiki.alioth.net/index.php/Interstellar_help_OXP

With the galactic navy around, it's possible to dock on a behemoth. It will jump to some random system while the player is docked, thus solving the situation.
The fuel collector simply works at a very low rate in interstellar space, thus it would require to let the ship fly around for a VERY long time to gather enough fuel.
That's why I always carry two pylon mounted fuel tanks with me. That way I can always get out and even have a little fuel for injectors!
