You need to switch it to the Kestrel HUD. Then everything fits properly ;)

to just move the background, you need to search for the name of the background image inside the merlinhud.plist, there should be an x entry and a y entry.
Adjust the y value until it's aligned properly: to check the alignment, restart Oolite while pressing down shift to tell it that you changed the insides of one oxp, and you should be good to go!

edit: or totally replace it with the one inside the kestrel as Skreet said... whichever seems more fun... still press that shift, otherwise Oolite might not notice the changes... :)

*ROTFL* I would not have noticed would you not have written that excuse :D

It's a common thing with that name.

Much worse is my real name. I very often do get letters for "Anne" instead of "Arne" because there are simply too many people who don't know that name and read what they expect - just like I did read what I did expect in your previous message ;)

It's often auto-spell checkers too - I wrote to one company to complain that they kept writing to Mr. Haggard (my RL surname is Hoggard) - they wrote back apologising for the mistake - although the letter was still addressed to Mr. Haggard! Boy did they get a roasting via telephone after that!
