Hello from another new player

Thought it would be polite to say hi before heading off to ask Getafix questions :)

Have been lurking for longer than my profile shows as I had some difficulty registering. Thanks for the stories Drew, I enjoyed them both, just finished Mutabilis last night.

I never played the original Elite but I'm enjoying playing Oolite, the community and the game are both great.

Aww.. man.. I was hoping for at least one more story before I die.. :( :lol:
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied
