is this normal

i leave this thing logged in, so i dont have to go through all the pallaver of username password

no one has access to this computer- its passworded to crank up

now the first thing i look at here is the discussion, and look for the orange thingies to see any new stuff

but

sometimes i know i have left it with oranges, but when i come back here they are blue

very confused

php boards are not without their bugs... ...this is one of the most stable and reliable forums I use... ...some are much worse!

A couple of days ago everything stayed orange for me, no matter how often I clicked the threads. And sometimes all orange is gone a split second after I have logged in. You never know, except that this phpBB is very obviously buggy.

I got persistent oranges at work but not here at home for about a week...

yep.. when mine starts acting up, I just delete all my aegidian.org cookies and log in again.. usually it will be 3-4 weeks before I need to do it again..

I had that suspicion as well. After a couple of days I completely reset Safari, and the problem was gone.

(That doesn't solve the problem of the vanishing orange after an involuntary log-off, however. Good that I get one of those only twice or thrice a day...

)
