Even more complicated as I am born in Germany but my English is probably better than my German. I always have my spell checker set to English when I type. But "live" is also a valid spelling.

Back on thread,
I have just traded another of my S cobies for a caddy. I like to keep a few ships on the go, for different roles,
This time same weapons transfered but excess gold an plat did too?? About 900K's each.
Don't know about other cargo had sold it all.
This is with 1.73.3 though.
Just wondering if anything had changed or just a lucky day. Maybe wee glitch that I can happily live with.

Regarding the precious metals. It can be quite lucrative in the long run. If you have the necessary OXPs installed you can typically get very cheap Gold and Plat from HoOpy Casinos. I have seen gold at 12 or 13 credits and plat as low as 50 credits there. Since the casinos are generally in Richer Industrial systems you can sell the gold and plat directly to the station once you leave the casino. Additionally a ton or two of fur is often available at a much lower price - also to sell direct to the station without the need to use hyperspace.

In addition to this, Rock Hermits, Gulags and the like have cheaper precious metals.
