Thanks, Diz, I thought the plane would be notable.

Nice photo, Sendraks.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

An A10 Thunderbolt II?
I doubt it, the shark motif has been used on planes for decades before the A-10 appeared. If I could find a picture of a Typhoon (or Tempest) with the Shark's motif, it would make more sense.

Found one - only not entirely sure this is a Typhoon, could be a Hawker Tornado, but you get the general idea.

I think this is Curtiss P-40 Warhawk, N variant. Maybe one of the general Chennault "Flying Tigers"... In British Royal Air Force they were called Tomahawk II.

Cheers.

For added fairness, P51 Mustang with the sharktooth motif, but the effect isn't nearly as good without the front radiator.

Sure looks best on the Tomahawk.

Thanks for the info Gorans, found a few more pictures to back that up.

El Viejo - I agree, with the ram air-intake/radiator, the shark's tooth effect is most striking.

It's an impressive paint job on any plane.. Shame it wouldn't look good on my Imperial Courier.
I shot him back first. That is to say, I read his mind and fired before he would have fired on me. No, sir, he wasn't a fugitive.

i'm using the sharktooth motif on one of my Dominatrix variants. i've loved it sincei had a model of an F4 as a kid, but i've also seen it on Cobra gunships too, it's a fairly popular design.
