Joystick not functioning in 1.72 ?

Post by Commander Burton »

Hi.

My joystick works fine in 1.65 but in 1.72 the option is there for 'Joystick Configuration' but is greyed out and can not be used.

Is there a remedy for this please ??

Can you give us some additional info please?

Operating system, exact version of Oolite (e.g. is it 1.72.2) and make and model of joystick, maybe a copy of your Latest.log as well...
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

Thanks for the response.

To help anyone else who may have this problem it was as simple as this...

Ensure that your joystick is selected as a 'pref device' in control panel.

All is fine now.

How silly of me.
