I know your using an older version of phpbb but there is a nice mod out there for phpbb3 that I use and I like it a lot once I learned the ins and outs.

This one looks rather suss...
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied
