Fairy Wind at Beatle System

Post by Spacetrader »

Hello,

I'm playing the Assassin oxp and have the mission to destroy the "Fairy Wind" at Beatle. So far so good. When I'm arriving, there are some unfriendly Kraids, but I could run them out, reach the repair facility and now I have a problem: how can I find the right ship? I've been looking for several times, but I can't find it and there is not very much time for fooling around javascript:emoticon(''). Did I have to kill every Boa ? This makes little sense and the Police are not amused...

Greetings

You need to destroy "Guild Target"

Check Assasssins script.js end replace all "less than" with "lessthan"

The lessthan bug shoudn't effect the Fair Wind mission. The typo just means that in a later mission there will be fewer mine sweepers protecting a target than were intended. The Fair Wind is an Annaconda (and the only Annaconda near the Repair Base). When Targeted it will show as "Guild Target : The Fair Wind". Its parked up pretty much in a straight line ahead of the station's docking port. Don't return fire against the Kraits or you'll soon get overwealmed. Just ignore them and concentate on trying to find the target. If your sheilds are getting low, injector away and top up your fuel. There are a fixed number of guards and if you lure them away, then they don't get replaced unless you start firing at the police kraits. Bringing plenty of fuel for your injectors is essestial though for this mission.
OXPS : The Assassins Guild, Asteroid Storm, The Bank of the Black Monks, Random Hits, The Galactic Almanac, Renegade Pirates can be downloaded from the Elite Wiki here.

iirc the 'fair wind' was bigger than the surrounding vessels & blue in colour.
Easier to see from a distance.
I was pretty lucky as it was one of the first vessels i targeted, so didn't have to waste too much time.
Try scooting off in different directions away from the stright in shipping lane when you arrive in system.

Good luck

Thank's a lot, Ive found the mark, but I haven't killed jet. It is much better if the missions aren't so easy...
