thanks for all the replies.
Quick question, how does Oolite work out priorities. If I've got 2 different OXPs which update the Spacestations, which one does it use ?
cheers

Priority is the order in which they are loaded -- last loaded overwrites previous.
However, in the case of stations, you will probably find that generally they add new types, rather than overwriting each other. The stations are then chosen "at random" (yes, I know, not true random etc.) from the pool.

OXPs are loaded in alphabetical order, so you can manipulate their loading order by changing their filename. To install an OXP, all you have to do is throw the folder with the .oxp extension inside AddOns. No interface is necessary. Oolite will note the new folder inside AddOns and use its data when started up.
just thought I'd say that as an aging newb, I'm really enjoying Oolite ! Fantastic version of my all time favourite game
As for the Belkin, in the end I went for the Logitech G13 gaming board, as it has more keys (25) and a smart LCD screen, would be nice if Oolite could pass that info such as trade prices, status etc !
thanks again to all who are working on this project, it's very much appreciated.
