After finding that YouTube could not cope with the demo video made by Svengali, I contacted Svengali and he was kind enough to supply me with the raw footage he'd used to make the demo. I succeeded in re-creating the same video Svengali had produced, and (after some tussles figuring out which compression codec gave the best results), I have uploaded the result to YouTube. I was able to locate and use the same mp3 as Svengali chose for his demo, and I've inserted a credit for the music in the final credits scene. Other than that though, it is as close to the original as possible. Enjoy! :D

The video can be seen here. I highly recommend viewing in full-screen for best effect.
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

cor! that is stunning! The way the ships and the station all interact with each other is fantastic, i just watched the whole thing open mouthed in amazement! to whoever was piloting, excellent side viewport work on the flyby's :)
