Repairing Military Shield Boosters

Post by mr_wigster »

Hi All,

Just a quick (and hopefully easy) question to answer. My cheap Military Shield Boosters, bought from a salvage gang (2nd hand) have broken, but even tech 14 worlds don't offer a repair service. Where can I get these fixed, or do I have to buy new again?

Cheers,

Wigster.

Try my repair bots perhaps? May need a few pods of them, but they can fix most stuff...

Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

With respect, I believe amberiya to be a spammer, I took a look around the web and they are registered in a number of places mostly in early july, and mostly with zero or one off topic military posting.

I agree this is a bot. The off-topic / spam has been deleted. If user amberiya is real, I need to receive a PM from him/her/it explaining why they should not be banhammered. Not that I expect to receive anything, though.

Back to original question:
This Military Shield Enhancement is only available after finishing the constrictor mission. And even than as new item its only sometimes available at level 14 but always at level 15. Repair at 14 should be always possible after the mission.

Unless you have an OXP that messes around with things like this.

I would hope that anyone changing availability of items such as this would have taken this into account, but it is quite possible that it was missed. You might be able to get a repair at a salvage yard or someplace like that.
