Not quite what I said. The primary server where it lives has had hardware problems so is currently defunct. So as a temporary ( ) back-up it's running on one of Winston's machines I believe, on his ADSL (or somesuch) line. The history of it all is in the first couple of pages of this thread.
Hence it's currently read-only (presumably to protect his bandwidth and to make it less of a pain when the proper hardware is back to re-integrate everything) and understandably quite slow to access.
But it is still there, just checked a moment ago. Some patience is required, and some understanding of where it's held so you don't try and grab too much and upset Winston.

OK, I have some nice shiny new hardware to run it on. I'm travelling today, but it may be that I can still get it up and running while sitting in airports waiting for planes. But if not, it won't be more than a couple of days (hopefully).
Unfortunately, the brief time it was back on its old proper box, it never stayed up long enough to complete a backup so any updates from those couple of days are toast, I'm afraid.

Thanks again! & I'm keeping an inordinate number of fingers firmly crossed!
I'll stop now before I jinx it...

Hey, free OXPs: farsun v1.05 & tty v0.5! :0)
Great stuff. Although I've probably also jinxed it by updating my page and adding the new OXPs again...
...now remind me why I've written so many damn OXPs!

Its working perfect now. Thanks for it. It works at least as fast as before.winston wrote:Well, it seems to be staying up so I'm going to be brave and unsticky this thread...
Just one thing is not working. Probably unintentional but on trying to upload a file I still get:
The upload directory (.....) is not writable by the webserver.
UPS-Courier & DeepSpacePirates & others at the box and some older versions

It seems like the Manual of Style page of the wiki is somewhat spammed. Or I am not getting the joke..
Best wishes,
