A possible indicator..?
Cloaking device

I like it, because it allows to see that the cloak is working and also keep green/yellow/red as other ships might target a cloaked ship for a very brief amount of time, thus this could be properly reflected (and also tell the commander what to expect when the cloak turns off).ZygoUgo wrote:A possible indicator..?

That all very interesting to read -- I doubt that if a cloak indicator hasn't emerged since BBC seminal event (Earth, late Cro-Magnon period) too many will now.
Another possibility might be for the background stars to change e.g. darken or flicker (or reverse colour? - I'll just try that...........no, not really satisfactory); this would even up the battle advantage of being cloaked, a bit, anyway.

Maybe after the famous MNSR! In the meantime the status indicator does already go slightly blue when cloaked(in trunk), providing that all important visual feedback from 1.73 onwards!
