I've just spent my life savings on a Vector
I thought I was supposed to get missions with it

Everything in Vector.oxp has a low chance to happen. You won't see so much of them flying around, but someday they will come to help you - or you could help them. And after that you will know. Or you could blast them away and collect their cargo. But there is no usual trigger for the 'mission'.
If you really need more infos give me a pm and I'll tell you a secret :-)
PS: Eric has already done some 'missions' - hehe, back in business...

Sneaky little bastards. I docked and some fat person told me he had found me. Were they searching for me?
Than on launch there were two cloaked bounty hunters trying to kill me.
