I'd vote for "Devil's Triangle", for the triangle (obviously!). I like "Tortuga", even if it does mean "tortoise", for the pirate connotations. I'd avoid words like "Dominion" or "Supremacy", though, because it sounds like an organised political unit. "Tortuga Expand" is pretty good: something that suggests a physical, rather than political, area. Or "Tortuga Bay", or "Tortuga Reach".

I'd vote for "Tortuga Expanse". Anyway, once something is identified and names, you'll get other names for it popping up anyway, from different cultures and different points of view.

There are still other areas on the map that could be names: there's a cluster of high-tech industrial systems towards the bottom left, around Aona (at 80, -220). How about "The Iron Stars" for those?

@ZygoUgo: no problem! The more the merrier. It's Presti70 that gets the headache ...

The planets around Aona aren't predominantly Communist, no – it's just a big blot of reasonably high-tech Industrial systems, so I'm imagining a lot of metal in orbit, big chunks of the planets' surfaces covered in factories, etc.

Iron Stars gives me good images! Foundry's Reach does too.
I'll explain my thinking rather than suggesting anything else (got to get on with projects again), I was suggesting light as in enlightened, and secrets and whispers as in I'm sure it's not just financial reason's other species don't have the same technology, so maybe something that mixes the metallic images with secrets and enlightenment?

Just above the Xexedi Cluster there's a group of high-tech Industrials surrounding a weedy little line of low-tech Ag worlds, but I'm struggling to come up with a name ... The Imbalance? The Inera-Rexebe Co-Prosperity Sphere?
