Hooray!

I guess the Mac is stricker (yuk!) more strict than the linux or PC interpretation of the oxp?

@Ark - I noticed (or I have failed to find in the oxp folders) that you didn't use my 4 frame Coriolis Preservation Society ad - was/is there something wrong with it (and can I fix it if there is?) - just (un)professional curiosity.

Now after all this excitement with the mac users back to work.

Things that need to be done before the completion of this update:

1.Correct the white line that surrounds the roof billboard made by pangloss. (I will also need a no_shader version) done
2.Correct the white line on the top of the roof billboard made by Griff . done
3.Possible fix of the 3 glowad sets made by pangloss (if not I can live with that since it is barely noticeable) done

Also I need to know if I am going to have another roof billboard from somebody else.

If i have time tomorrow i will start preperations for set_E

I am going to change my internet provider so i may not be able to enter the forum for the next few days

Please send me a new WIP... I'm a freaking klutz with such things and I know I'll fuuuuuuuu-- something up!

Now if only I could figure out that PNG problem. Perhaps the only way to do it is to save it as 24-bit PNG... that way, there should be the smoothness of the edges in the same way the 24-bit PNG Ad Rings have a smoothness of color.

Let's see if that works. Same image, but this time I have it in 24-bit PNG.

Image

Maybe that makes the difference. I checked it by putting a black layer underneath it, and couldn't see any jagged lines. I even added a different colored stroke, just to see if I could see jagged lines that way either.

There SHOULD (that's the operative word here: "should") be no problems with this one. If there are, let me know and I'll think of something else.

If it's Ok, I can work on a final Ad Board on Monday. I'll be borrowing from the newer YAH entries, and the Logos By Dr. Nil...

@Ark

Potential Sainsboory's Defender - as before, a temporary texture (in keeping with the rest) until I learn to add shaders and/or they slow the spin of the Earth and we end up with a 40hr day.

Roof-ads - they don't seem to follow the normal power of two rules!

The original drinking spaceman is 256x1024 but has five frames so each frame is 256x204.8, the new dancing robot is 100x800 and has eight frames so each frame is 100x100 - the funky chicken follows the same dimensions/frames as the drinking spaceman.

So are there any rules for the roof-ads? :?

I decided to stick to the original dimensions so there wouldn't be a problem! 8)

...and I am pleased to announce that the store looks GREAT!! Can't wait to see the chicken on one. Maybe I should just replace the spaceman and see for myself...
